Summary Vs. Analysis

  1. I think you did a great job explaining the difference between summary and analysis. The presentation was a little small but I was able to make the screen bigger so I could read it. Summary is explaining what it was about and analysis is detail of things.

    1. Thank you! Yeah.. I know it is small.. thankfully you can enlarge it but it was a funky system that I used and I had to finagle a lot of things so when I was able to get it how I wanted, regardless of size, I was thankful!!!

  3. Neat presentation! As stated it was a little small but I could still read it. I like that you got creative with your presentation, made it more interesting than reading another essay format! However it would take me far to long to create a slideshow version if I even could so I appreciated it! Also great points!

  5. Very creative. Good job on explaining the two. Although it was a bit small in the beginning I had to grab my glasses but other than that you did good and I believe anyone that had to learn the two differences between summary vs. analysis would gained knowledge from your presentation. Two thumbs up!

  7. Your post was very simple and easy to understand, as well as neatly presented. I enjoyed it. I do have to add that although your argument that Aslan is similar to jesus, there is no explanation as to why this matters. You said "the point of analyzing - [is] to find out why." While you may have been able to compare Aslan to Jesus, which is an arguable observation, and you also backed up your observation with evidence from the book, there still needs to be a reason why this might be important or relevant to the rest of the story in order to have a strong argument.

Other than that short analysis of the story, I agreed with what you had to say and enjoyed your presentation.

  8. Hello Elizabeth! I loved reading through your slideshow! I enjoyed that you put everything in laments terms and in your own words. I thought It was a really good idea to actually take the time to do a summary and analysis of your own (chronicles of narnia). It helped me realize the differences between the two since you put it in such plain terms...in all it was simple and I liked that!
